The work
- • Oversee all bar and lounge operations, maintaining 5-star service standards in every interaction
- • Create and manage team rotas in line with anticipated business volumes and seasonal demand
- • Lead, develop, and mentor the bar team including assistant managers and supervisors
- • Develop the bar programme, keeping abreast of industry trends and seasonal opportunities
- • Set an exemplary standard of guest interaction and service, leading the team from the front
- • Ensure meticulous standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and health and safety compliance at all times
- • Manage stock control, ordering, and cost of goods effectively within agreed budgets
- • Coordinate closely with F&B management and the wider hotel operations team

- • You have proven team leadership or management experience in a luxury or fine dining bar environment
- • You are current in your knowledge of cocktail trends, wine, and premium spirits
- • You are a natural host with exceptional people and communication skills
- • You thrive in a high-expectation 5-star environment and lead by example on the floor
- • You have meticulous attention to detail and a hands-on, solutions-focused approach to service

- • You prefer a back-of-house or non-guest-facing management role
- • You are not comfortable working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as part of your regular pattern
- • You have limited experience of managing and developing a team in a hospitality setting
