Receptionist (Front Office Agent)
Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda · Gargnano, Lake Garda (BS)
About the hotel
Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda sits above the lake in Gargnano, surrounded by greenery and that calm, expansive Lake Garda light. It’s a wellness-led resort where guests come to properly switch off — spa time, quiet luxury, and attentive service that feels natural rather than formal. The Front Office is the hub that keeps the whole stay running smoothly, connecting guests with every department. If you like being at the centre of things (and you enjoy making people feel genuinely looked after), you’ll feel at home here.
The work
- • Welcome guests on arrival, set the tone for their stay, and handle check-in/check-out with care and efficiency.
- • Manage day-to-day guest requests throughout the stay — from simple questions to time-sensitive needs — and follow through until they’re resolved.
- • Act as the communication bridge between the guest and the resort teams, passing on accurate information and preventing small issues becoming big ones.
- • Handle the administrative side of Front Office work: documentation, payments, and the routine tasks that keep the desk organised and compliant.
- • Respond to complaints and service recovery moments calmly, using good judgement and practical problem-solving rather than scripts.
- • Work closely with the Front Office Manager, keeping standards consistent across shifts and supporting the wider team when the pace picks up.
This role is for you if…
- • You speak excellent English and you can confidently use a second language (German or Russian) with international guests.
- • You enjoy guest interaction — you’re naturally attentive, polite, and you notice what people need before they ask twice.
- • You stay calm when plans change, and you’re good at turning a complaint into a solution without taking it personally.
- • You’re organised with admin and comfortable with everyday tools like Microsoft Office.
- • You like working as part of a team and you’re happy to be flexible when the operation requires it.
This role might not be for you if…
- • You’re looking for a back-office role with minimal guest contact — this is a front-line, guest-facing desk.
- • You struggle with shift work, flexibility, or the reality that guest needs don’t always arrive at convenient times.
- • You prefer to avoid complaints and difficult conversations rather than handling them directly and professionally.
- • You find it frustrating to coordinate with multiple departments and keep details accurate under pressure.
