About the hotel
Glenapp Castle is a 5-star Relais & Chateaux country house hotel set in 36 acres of woodland and gardens above the village of Ballantrae on the wild south Ayrshire coast. The work
- • Deliver a warm, polished welcome to every arriving guest
- • Manage check-in and check-out with accuracy, pace and personal care
- • Process reservations, amendments and cancellations on the PMS
- • Handle guest billing, payments and end-of-shift reconciliations
- • Own the switchboard and handle incoming calls professionally
- • Anticipate guest needs and arrange dining, spa and Hebridean Sea Safari bookings
- • Liaise closely with Housekeeping on room readiness and VIP set-ups
- • Act as a confident point of contact for concierge and activity requests
- • Manage guest feedback in the moment with empathy and solutions
- • Maintain meticulous shift records, key control and handovers

- • You have front-of-house experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel
- • You are warm, naturally welcoming and thrive on guest interaction
- • You have strong attention to detail with billing, systems and paperwork
- • You are a calm, confident communicator in person and on the phone
- • You enjoy working as part of a close-knit country house team
